- Hello, welcome to my blog! I am a Washington DC born artist and have been painting since an early age in oil (my mother threw away my early work Haha) I was apprenticed by my grandfather who taught my to paint and draw by memory using set ups in another room and coming back to draw or paint. I attended the Washington Studio School and taught by teachers of American University. I exhibited in Georgetown for over 20 years. Thank you
This is a peek at my interior studio on a rainy day. Usually I work on several pieces at a time. The large work has had three sittings so far and will need several more. I like to work in different mediums.
